About the role

Role Overview

You will be a DevOps Engineer working fully remotely to build, automate, and manage scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll collaborate with development, QA, and operations to improve reliability, performance, and release efficiency using modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code
Monitor system performance, availability, and security
Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Troubleshoot production issues and implement root-cause fixes
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth, reliable releases
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operational processes

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3–6 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering / similar roles
Strong Linux/Unix experience
Hands-on CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Cloud proficiency: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
Monitoring familiarity: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
Strong Git/version control workflows
Problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

Scripting: Python or Bash
Networking, security, and cloud best practices
Exposure to microservices and cloud-native architectures
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
