About the role

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (Remote; EST time zone preferred) supporting a cloud transformation to AWS. You will help maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

Support deployment, automation, and scaling of SaaS applications on AWS
Build and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation
Develop automation/operational tooling with Python scripting
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, frequent releases
Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy to lower environments and support scalable infrastructure design
Support containerized workloads running on Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
Integrate infrastructure with data platforms such as Databricks
Assist migration of legacy infrastructure from data centers into AWS
Partner with offshore DevOps engineers to maintain and improve existing infrastructure
Ensure high availability and scalability of customer-facing SaaS services
Participate in on-call rotations and handle after-hours incidents as needed

Requirements (Hard)

4–5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure engineering
Strong AWS experience
Hands-on experience with AWS CDK
Strong Python scripting for automation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS applications
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Nice to Have (Bonus/Preferred)

Experience with Databricks
Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Exposure to CloudFormation
Familiarity with AWS Batch and SQS
Experience in organizations undergoing cloud migration/modernization

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred)
