DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Schellman is looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll partner with development and security teams to optimize DevOps processes and implement technologies that enable efficient and secure deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure: identify, manage, and optimize for security, resiliency, and observability
• Enable DevOps automation: assist development with automation/performance optimizations and DevOps best practices
• Drive service roadmap: contribute to assigned services/capabilities and guide solution design for business needs
• Improve release speed through R&D on process improvements
• Automate manual workflows across IT and business verticals with scalability, cohesion, and security
• Manage vendor relationships and service provider coordination
• Use APIs to script and automate IT operations
• Evaluate/implement new services to support teams and clients
• Collaborate with the AI Team to support ML workload infrastructure, including the model deployment pipeline

Reporting Line

• Reports to the Director, IT

Working Expectations

• Regular morning/evening deployments outside business hours
• On-call rotations
• Independent ownership with a fast-paced, startup-like environment and work/life balance focus
