About the role

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer to support a greenfield legal technology project focused on release management, deployment automation, and overall DevOps process improvement. This is a remote contract role with EST hours.

Responsibilities

Support the greenfield DevOps implementation in a legal technology environment
Rework and optimize current deployment and release processes
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Manage Salesforce DevOps processes using Copado and Azure DevOps
Own release management, rollback strategies, and deployment governance
Partner with developers on code-heavy builds and integrations
Ensure secure deployment practices for sensitive legal/business data
Improve scalability and efficiency as platform usage grows

Requirements (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on DevOps engineering experience
Copado experience
Azure DevOps experience
Background in Salesforce DevOps / Salesforce release management
Experience developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
Experience with deployment automation and release management
Ability to design rollback strategies
Understanding of application security and data protection best practices
Strong collaboration skills with software development teams

Nice to Have

GitHub / GitHub Actions
MuleSoft exposure
Legal or financial services industry experience
Experience building DevOps processes in a greenfield environment
Experience with Salesforce governance models

Not a Fit If

You have only infrastructure/cloud DevOps work without application release experience
You lack Salesforce DevOps or Copado exposure
You haven’t owned release processes or pipeline improvements
