DevOps Engineer (Contractor) — Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments.
• Build and maintain containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance with Prometheus and Grafana, plus centralized logging.
• Ensure secure access management and secrets handling using IAM and secrets management tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong Linux system administration and fundamental networking knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Knowledge of IAM, secrets management, and security best practices.
• Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in remote environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale, distributed systems for diverse clients/industries.
• Advanced automation/configuration management and cloud-native security experience.
• Exposure to microservices and Agile delivery methodologies.
