DevOps Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (Remote) responsible for supporting secure and reliable application delivery in an Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)-aligned landing zone. You will collaborate with development, security, and engineering teams to modernize delivery and improve platform reliability through automation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise cloud delivery.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Contribute to the evolution of DevOps standards and cloud engineering practices.
• Improve automation, reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Support operational teams with automated monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Work within architectural guardrails aligned to enterprise cloud architecture and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, development, security, business) to enhance pipelines and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps engineering, cloud operations, or site reliability (SRE), preferably with Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including identity, networking, and security concepts (e.g., Zero Trust).
• Experience designing, implementing, or migrating Azure solutions.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on IaC and CI/CD workflows using Terraform and Git-based pipelines (YAML).
• Experience working in Azure environments aligned to the Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
• Experience with Azure CAF and Landing Zones.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability for performance, reliability, and incident management.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and applications.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with compliance/security frameworks such as CIS, NIST 800-53, and GDPR.
• Relevant cloud/DevOps certifications.
