About the role
Role Overview
Joveo is hiring a DevOps Engineer (Remote) to build, automate, and maintain infrastructure that keeps the platform reliable at scale. You’ll own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and operational tooling, helping engineering teams deploy quickly without breaking production.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Monitor system health, define alerting thresholds, and lead incident response
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce engineering toil
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment velocity and reliability
- Apply and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipeline layers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation
