About the role
DevOps Engineer (Remote, US)
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $200K–$300K/yr
Hours: 10–40 hours/week
Role Overview
Design, build, and operate resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Own end-to-end cloud operations, CI/CD automation, security practices (DevSecOps), and observability to ensure high availability and fast resolution of production issues.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Manage cloud infrastructure end-to-end to deliver high system availability
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Use Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CDK
- Drive cost optimization and monitor resource utilization across AWS, GCP, Azure
- Champion DevSecOps: container security, API protection, and secret management
- Build and maintain observability: logging, metrics, alerting, and rapid debugging
Requirements
- Strong DevOps experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Deep DevSecOps tool knowledge, including Jenkins, Terraform, Git/Version control, and containerization
- Hands-on experience supporting large-scale, high-availability production environments and real-time incident resolution
- Solid understanding of DevOps automation (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions) and zero-downtime deployments
- Proficiency in infrastructure security: IAM, secrets management, network security, and API protection
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Experience optimizing CI/CD and infrastructure across multiple providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
