DevOps Engineer | Remote

Role Overview

Crossing Hurdles is hiring a GCP DevOps Engineer for a remote, full-time position (10–40 hrs/week).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management using industry-standard DevOps practices.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve workflows.
• Maintain security and compliance for cloud environments using best practices.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and incidents proactively.
• Document solutions and processes clearly to support team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
• Deep expertise implementing and operating production cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes administration and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Competence with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
