DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Type: Full-time
Compensation: $160,000–$220,000/year
Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week

Role Overview

Design, implement, and run scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, enabling reliable application delivery through automated CI/CD and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Azure cloud infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure Azure infrastructure
• CI/CD pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tooling
• Containers & orchestration: Manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker
• Operations & reliability: Monitor performance, automate operational tasks, and proactively resolve issues
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency
• Security & compliance: Ensure security, compliance, and robust backup/recovery strategies
• Communication & documentation: Document processes/solutions and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps roles with a focus on Azure
• Deep expertise in Azure DevOps tools and services
• Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
