About the role
Role Overview
DevOps Engineer (Remote) — hourly contract, sprint-based projects with 12–24 hour stretches depending on requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Complete and evaluate complex infrastructure engineering tasks using coding agents.
- Review model-generated implementations across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation.
- Identify bugs, edge cases, reliability issues, and system failure modes.
- Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths/weaknesses.
- Apply engineering judgment to real-world infrastructure and reliability scenarios.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools.
- Ability to evaluate model-generated infrastructure and reliability solutions.
- Strong experience supporting production-scale systems.
