About the role

Role: DevOps Engineer

Join Oddball’s CMS BDAMAX team to support a federal program that directly impacts the Medicare experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated scanning, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform, emphasizing reusable modules and secure configuration baselines.
  • Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including:
    • EKS, ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, Secrets Manager
  • Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments, including Argo Workflows.
  • Support enterprise adoption of AI engineering platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Cursor.
  • Partner with DevOps, Architecture, and Development teams to implement reliable, scalable infrastructure patterns.
  • Build internal tooling to support development and operational workflows.

What you’ll bring

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and core cloud infrastructure management.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
  • Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and environment management.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
  • Familiarity with Argo Workflows (plus).
  • Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and communicates clearly with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • For some roles, may require U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.

  • Annual stipend and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k) match and flexible PTO/paid holidays.
  • United States wage range: $100,000 – $145,000 per year.
