DevOps Engineer (Mobile-First) (Remote, Full-Time, Direct Hire) — join a remote-first, tight-knit team building a greenfield, mobile-first digital platform inside an established enterprise. This is a hands-on, greenfield DevOps role focused on building and evolving modern cloud infrastructure—not maintenance.
Responsibilities

- Create and maintain fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines for frequent releases.
- Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
- Enable developer self-service and remove engineering bottlenecks.
- Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for visibility and reliability.
- Contribute to security-first pipelines (e.g., vulnerability scanning and guardrails).
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Document standards, patterns, and lessons learned as the platform matures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Infrastructure as Code familiarity (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
- Container/orchestration exposure (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting skills (Bash and/or Python).
- Foundational understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Nice-to-Haves / Emphasis
- DevSecOps and security tooling mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a startup-like pace and work alongside a Senior DevOps Engineer setting a high technical bar.
