DevOps Engineer Mobile

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer – Mobile, you will streamline the delivery, integration, and performance of iOS and Android applications. You’ll design and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that help mobile engineering teams ship faster, more reliably, and at high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development (iOS + Android)
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments
• Manage cloud infrastructure supporting mobile backend services and developer tooling
• Collaborate with mobile developers to improve release cycles and feedback loops
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of mobile-specific build and infrastructure
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for mobile services and CI/CD systems
• Enforce mobile app security best practices, including:
  • certificate management
  • secrets handling
  • signing processes
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (e.g., Terraform)
• Evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps tools and practices to improve mobile workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps experience, with a strong focus on mobile app pipelines and automation
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, fastlane, CircleCI, or GitLab CI
• Experience building and distributing iOS and Android apps in scalable environments
• Familiarity with Apple Developer tools (e.g., Xcode, provisioning profiles, code signing) and Google Play Store pipelines
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or similar container/orchestration systems)
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar
• Understanding of mobile-specific security (certificates, secure storage)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Ability to work in Agile and cross-functional, product-driven teams
