About the role

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will build and operate reliable multi-cloud systems that power global communications. You will work closely with engineers to automate, secure, and optimize deployments, ensuring scalable, always-on services.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to automate, secure, and optimize deployments
Monitor systems and maintain high availability through on-call rotations
Drive incident response to restore service and reduce impact
Build automation and monitoring scripts using Python, Bash, or equivalent
Implement and maintain observability tooling for proactive health management (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
Apply knowledge of cloud networking, security, and IAM to support production reliability

Requirements

4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or automation engineering
Hands-on experience with:
- AWS, OCI
- Kubernetes
- Git
- CI/CD
- Terraform
Experience managing on-call and participating in incident response
Proficiency with Python/Bash scripting (or equivalent)
Experience with observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and IAM

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working on always-on, high-scale communication platforms (implied by team focus)
