About the role
Role Overview
Join LinkLive as a DevOps Engineer (individual contributor) to help build and operate reliable, secure, observable, and scalable infrastructure for an AI-powered customer communications platform. You’ll partner closely with Engineering and Security to improve delivery pipelines, monitoring/incident response, and to embed secure and compliant operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Improve platform reliability & operational excellence
- Increase reliability/availability through automation and operational best practices
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis; implement prevention and reliability improvements
- Maintain backup/restore processes and validate recovery readiness via regular testing
- Reduce operational toil by improving tooling, runbooks, and standardized procedures
- Build & maintain scalable infrastructure
- Use Infrastructure as Code and repeatable deployment patterns
- Support performance, scalability, and cost optimization with Engineering
- Raise uptime and deployment confidence across the platform
- Strengthen delivery, observability, and security practices
- Maintain/improve CI/CD pipelines for safe, fast, repeatable releases
- Own monitoring & observability (metrics, logs, alerting, dashboards) and improve alert quality/signal-to-noise
- Work with Security to embed secure, compliant practices in how systems are built and operated
- Contribute to audit readiness via documentation and evidence automation
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, Implementations Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or similar
- Experience with at least one major cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong Linux fundamentals and hands-on systems troubleshooting
- CI/CD pipeline experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Monitoring, alerting, and incident response experience
- Networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)
- Solid understanding of security fundamentals and operational best practices
- Strong written communication and documentation habits
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, geographically distributed environment
Bonus
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (especially Terraform)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience supporting regulated environments
