DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes | Remote

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) for a remote hourly contract role. You will design and operate CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for containerized applications, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability
• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards
• Implement CI/CD best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Proficiency with Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Contract Details & Process

• Hourly contract, 10–40 hours/week, remote (United States)
• Compensation: $200K–$300K/year (as stated)
