About the role
Role Overview
DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) for a remote hourly contract role. You will design and operate CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for containerized applications, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards
- Implement CI/CD best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS
- Proficiency with Terraform and GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
