About the role

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) — remote, hourly contract. You will design, build, and operate CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for containerized applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and best-practice CI/CD workflows.
  • Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of services.
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Proficiency with automation tools including Terraform and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
