About the role
Role Overview
DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) — remote, hourly contract. You will design, build, and operate CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for containerized applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and best-practice CI/CD workflows.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve reliability and scalability.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of services.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proficiency with automation tools including Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
