DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes | Remote

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (Hourly contract) working remotely in the United States. You will design, automate, and operate CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for containerized production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve scalability and reliability.
• Maintain system documentation and enforce operational best practices.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of production systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and version control.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Contract Details

• $200K–$300K/yr, 10–40 hours/week, remote.
