About the role

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer joining a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure for large-scale digital platforms. You’ll automate complex environments, improve deployment pipelines, and enhance system reliability across cloud and on-premises setups.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and promote modern DevOps practices to improve collaboration between development, QA, and operations.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
  • Improve observability using monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.
  • Administer Linux-based infrastructure with a focus on security, availability, and operational excellence.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize deployment workflows to improve reliability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of cloud infrastructure, automation strategies, and platform performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar infrastructure automation role.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Configuration as Code, preferably with Ansible.
  • Proven Infrastructure as Code experience in cloud environments, ideally AWS and Terraform.
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience using Jenkins.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and the ELK Stack.
  • Advanced Linux administration and strong networking knowledge (routing, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: Go, Python, or Groovy.
  • Kubernetes administration experience; familiarity with on-prem Kubernetes (e.g., Rancher) is a plus.
  • VMware vSphere experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset in Agile teams.
