DevOps Engineer

Role overview

Hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer role focused on reliability, performance, and continuous improvement for a live production system. You’ll help transition the team from reactive operations to a more robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day platform reliability, performance, and monitoring
• Be the first point of contact for production issues and incident response
• Improve performance, stability, and scalability via proactive changes
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tools
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Manage AWS infrastructure and production environments
• Identify opportunities for automation and reduce manual operational work
• Collaborate with engineers on rollouts and fast feedback loops
• Participate in incident reviews and continuous improvement practices
• Support integrations, partners, and external data sources as needed

Requirements

• Background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role
• Experience building and operating reliable systems
• Comfort taking ownership in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in an SRE-like environment (the role is described as stepping into traditional SRE responsibilities without rigid definitions)
