About the role

Role Overview

Join Freelancerprox as a DevOps Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage environments and deployments
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate workflows
Help implement security best practices and system backups

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering (or related)
Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and shell scripting
Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Understanding of Docker and containerization
Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform / CloudFormation
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Familiarity with Git
