About the role

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at InEight, you’ll partner with software engineering and product teams to deploy, operate, and improve systems. You’ll automate operations to maximize efficiency, build tooling for deployment/monitoring, and help troubleshoot issues in both internal and customer environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy and support applications in Azure using IaaS and PaaS services
Identify and reduce issues by designing, testing, and implementing software-based solutions
Improve service delivery by driving efficiencies, root cause analysis, and increasing maturity and scalability
Practice sustainable incident response and run blameless postmortems
Adhere to security policies and enforce proper access controls to data
Maintain documentation for IT processes, automation, trouble tickets, network configurations, inventory, and audit requests
Perform systems monitoring and handle alert remediation
Participate in off-hours/on-call rotation as needed

Requirements

10+ years experience in IT (or related)
6+ years experience in a software development environment
4+ years experience in Azure or AWS
4+ years scripting experience
3+ years experience with Azure DevOps
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related (preferred)
Ability to guide less experienced team members and communicate effectively
Willingness to support 24/7 via on-call rotation
Familiarity with automation concepts
