About the role

Role Overview

DevSecOps (DevOps Engineer) to secure an AWS EKS Kubernetes environment and CI/CD pipeline in preparation for a FedRAMP High audit. The environment runs 350 container images on AWS EKS, and FedRAMP expertise is required.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and container patch automation workflows.
Harden AWS and Kubernetes/EKS using security best practices.
Develop Python-based automation for vulnerability remediation and security operations.
Implement and maintain container image scanning and remediation processes.
Review and enforce least-privilege access across IAM, RBAC, certificates, and secrets.
Collaborate with engineering teams on secure coding practices, code reviews, and production readiness.
Support FedRAMP-aligned security initiatives and continuous compliance.

Contract Details

Duration: 6 months
Estimated rate: $84/hr to $89/hr on W2
