About the role

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps platform team and help build scalable, secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines for a microservices-based product running in multiple cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dependable, fast, scalable DevOps pipelines to deploy and operate a complex microservices architecture
Support deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus future private cloud and on-prem environments
Ensure strong security for the infrastructure
Support customer deployments and assist field engineering in customer POVs
Collaborate with the founding team to deliver high-impact product outcomes

Requirements

2+ years managing infrastructure in public clouds
Strong experience creating and managing complex cloud/container infrastructure
Proven track record building maintainable, scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Deep understanding of security concerns in public clouds and Kubernetes
Experience with Terraform, Helm, Argo CD
Experience with Tailscale
Kubernetes/cluster exposure with EKS / GKE / AKS
Observability tooling: Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/OTel
Programming/scripting in Python, Bash, and/or Go (Golang)
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work autonomously with good engineering tradeoffs
Pride in code quality, testing, and documentation

Nice to Have

Strong preference for candidates based in MT or PST (remote timezone preference)
