About the role
Role Overview
You will be a DevOps Engineer focused on improving release confidence and operational response by strengthening test automation, CI/CD, infrastructure automation (IaC), and observability—while collaborating across engineering, product, design, and security.
Responsibilities
- Test Automation & Release Quality
- Improve automated testing and release quality across web products
- Define and improve QA processes, regression testing, and defect tracking
- CI/CD & Deployment
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Work with engineering on release readiness and identify tooling/process gaps
- Infrastructure & Operational Hygiene
- Define and manage infrastructure programmatically using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Support provisioning, configuration management, and scaling workflows
- Collaborate on full observability of systems and infrastructure
- Partner with security to meet compliance requirements
Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in QA, DevOps, or software engineering
- Practical DevOps mindset with a track record of turning reliability issues into repeatable systems
- Strong automation/scripting mindset (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, environments, and deployment workflows
- Clear communicator; works effectively cross-functionally
- Comfortable using AI-assisted engineering tools (with strong review/testing/documentation habits)
- Drives DevOps/agentic enablement experience
Nice to Have
- Infrastructure-as-code exposure (Terraform)
Location
- Preference for Texas-based candidates (posting lists Frisco, TX).
