Role Overview
DevOps Engineer (AWS) — Remote You’ll help improve application delivery efficiency through automation, reliable build/release pipelines, and production-grade infrastructure on major cloud platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain scalable, cloud-hosted environments for application delivery.
- Own build and release pipelines, ensuring deployment consistency and reliability.
- Oversee application promotions across environments, including recovery and rollback planning.
- Introduce automation across infrastructure and deployment processes using code-driven approaches (IaC-style practices).
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, test, and release practices.
- Investigate and resolve issues across environments, including pipeline failures and live production incidents.
- Contribute to system monitoring and alerting, improving ongoing service reliability.
- Apply and enforce security considerations across systems and delivery pipelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Background working with Linux-based systems in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience delivering/managing applications in distributed environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python and shell scripting).
- Exposure to containers and orchestration platforms.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and system connectivity.
- Experience with controlled release strategies in production.
- Strong problem-solving across automation pipelines, systems, and applications.
