DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer responsible for the reliability, scalability, and security of distributed infrastructure powering high-traffic production systems. You’ll partner with software engineering teams to build platform capabilities, automate deployments, and support zero-downtime operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu)
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters for production: high availability, resource optimization, and secure multi-tenancy
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and/or Argo CD (GitOps workflows)
• Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and/or OpenTelemetry for monitoring and alerting
• Enforce security and compliance best practices across cloud environments (IAM, network segmentation, etc.)
• Participate in an on-call rotation to triage and resolve production incidents; perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence

Requirements

• 3–7 years experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering in cloud-native environments
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong container orchestration skills with Kubernetes and Docker
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and Linux system administration
• Scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash

Nice to Haves

• Service mesh experience (e.g., Istio)
• FinOps cost optimization
• Experience with large-scale data migrations
