DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Own the reliability, scalability, and security of production infrastructure for high-traffic applications used by millions of users worldwide. You’ll partner with software engineering teams to automate deployments, improve observability, and build resilient cloud systems that reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage immutable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes across multiple environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Argo CD for safe, automated deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to detect anomalies.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analyses.
• Apply security best practices including IAM and network segmentation to meet compliance needs.
• Write clean, modular automation and operational tooling code in Python or Go.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or production cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Deep knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing), and distributed systems.
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Service mesh experience (e.g., Istio).
• FinOps cost optimization experience.
• Active AWS certifications (e.g., AWS) or CKA.
