About the role
Role Overview
Evlo AI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and security of production infrastructure supporting millions of daily active users and high-throughput data streams. You will partner with senior software engineers and platform architects to build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure high availability across cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Build and optimize containerized deployment pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to maintain SLA compliance
- Automate operational tasks and incident response workflows to reduce manual toil and improve recovery times
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability scanning, and IAM access reviews for compliance
- Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot and resolve critical production incidents
Requirements
- 3–6 years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure management
- Deep expertise in AWS, including EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, and IAM
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions (or GitLab CI)
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS) and zero-trust security architecture knowledge
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Istio (service mesh)
- FinOps cost optimization experience
- Active AWS / Kubernetes certifications
