About the role

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, and capacity of large-scale infrastructure. You’ll bridge software development and systems engineering by building automated tooling for resilient cloud systems and working closely with product teams on scalable service architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, provision, and maintain multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for safe, repeatable automated delivery
Administer and scale production Kubernetes clusters, including:
- ingress controllers
- service meshes
- autoscaling policies
Develop observability and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog (including anomaly detection)
Participate in a shared on-call rotation, respond to alerts, and lead incident mitigation and blameless post-mortems
Write automation tooling/operators in Go or Python to eliminate manual operations

Requirements

3–6 years in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering managing production cloud workloads
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
Deep knowledge of Linux administration, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), and cloud security best practices
Hands-on coding in Go, Python, or Bash for automation/scripting
Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching (Redis, Memcached) under heavy load

Nice to Have

Experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001)
Experience managing multi-cloud environments
