About the role

Role overview

You’ll join DataAnnotation as a DevOps Engineer to support the training and evaluation of AI chatbots/models. The work involves assessing model progress, evaluating logic and output quality, and solving technical problems to improve overall model performance.

Responsibilities

Create AI chatbot coding challenges and evaluate the chatbot’s outputs
Assess AI model results for correctness and performance
Solve coding problems and use debugging/problem-solving to improve quality

Requirements

Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Python and/or JavaScript
Ability to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank-style)
Ability to explain how your solution works and why it solves the problem
Fluent English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred (current/in-progress/completed)

Compensation & logistics

Remote (full-time or part-time)
Independent contract position
Flexible schedule; you can choose which projects to work on
Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
