DevOps Engineer (Cloud AIaaS)

Role overview

Gcore is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Edge Cloud Operations Team. You will design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure and services that enable scalable, secure AI inference workloads in on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure for AI inference workloads, including:
  • GPU scheduling
  • Model deployment pipelines
  • On-prem data access patterns
• Build and manage monitoring & observability for AI inference platforms:
  • Dashboards, alerts, and runbooks
  • Support model health and system performance
• Collaborate with ML engineers and platform teams on:
  • System architecture for AI workloads
  • Integration of inference runtimes
  • Performance testing at scale

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Containerization & orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker/CRI-O
  • Linux and networking
  • Scripting/programming: Python/Go/Bash
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Ansible, Terraform
• CI/CD pipelines: GitLab / GitHub Actions
• Experience with Cluster API or other similar Kubernetes automation tools
• Deep experience with Kubernetes networking and storage:
  • Kubernetes CNI, CSI, and Operators

Nice to have

• Kubernetes-related tooling such as ArgoCD and Helmfile
• Experience with Prometheus stack
• Other Cloud Native technologies
