DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer

Design and build tooling that removes complexity for development and operations teams, improving workflow efficiency and developer productivity.

Your Impact

• Support and improve CI/CD pipeline tools for multiple software products
• Partner with development teams to align on common goals
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Use Infrastructure as Code to deploy infrastructure for development environments
• Containerize applications to improve deployments and resilience
• Collaborate with development and QA to streamline workflows
• Ensure infrastructure can scale dynamically and recover from disaster scenarios
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Develop internal tooling and enable operational efficiency/self-service solutions
• Manage development resources and access controls
• Occasionally work after hours

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in a DevOps role
• 3 years’ experience in Software Engineering
• 2 years’ experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience running Kubernetes / EKS in production
• Competent in at least one scripting language: Bash, Python, or Go (GOLang preferred)
• Familiarity with CI tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
• Professional experience with configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Strong knowledge of an orchestrator/IaC tool such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Git experience
• Experience with monitoring/APM/logging/infrastructure
• Brief experience with MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift
• Understanding of security benchmarking
• Bachelor’s degree (CS/IS/Engineering/Information Security) or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Go (Golang) preferred
