About the role

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (OPT – US Remote) to automate, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Deploy, scale, and ensure application reliability in cloud environments
Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline releases
Monitor system performance, maintain high availability, and address issues
Apply security best practices within DevOps processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Valid OPT authorization in the United States
Basic understanding of DevOps principles and lifecycle
Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python / Bash / Shell scripting
Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Git

Preferred Qualifications

CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation
Basic networking and security knowledge
