About the role

Role Overview

BioIntelliSense is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help its engineering organization ship reliable, high-quality software across cloud infrastructure and applications in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python, .NET/C#, and Flutter (Android/iOS) projects using Bitbucket Pipelines and CircleCI
Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code for AWS-native applications using Terraform
Improve monitoring, alerting, and service reliability using Datadog
Support reliability and deployments for data platform assets, including Databricks asset bundle (DABs) deployments
Partner with a senior DevOps engineer on infrastructure optimization (performance, cost, business continuity)
Apply an AI-native mindset to DevOps workflows to enhance automation, code quality, and operational efficiency

Requirements

1+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering (including internships or academic projects)
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
Initiative to improve automation and reduce operational toil
Hands-on experience with Python and/or .NET/C#, plus comfort with scripting/automation in CI/CD
Familiarity with software development lifecycle best practices and tooling such as Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jira

Preferred Experience

CI/CD automation using Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
AWS experience, especially ECS, Lambda, and EventBridge
Terraform and Datadog observability experience
Familiarity with healthcare compliance context (e.g., HIPAA)
