Role Overview

DevOps Engineer (Full-time)

Remote with occasional client visits (Columbia, MD)
SECRET clearance required (higher clearance levels desired)

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, build, deployment, and operational use of large-scale, high-performance data environments for commercial and federal clients.
Work with automation and orchestration tooling to support cloud infrastructure and platform delivery.

Required Qualifications

Linux experience (required): CentOS, Rocky Linux, or Red Hat
Orchestration & Automation experience (required) in one or more of:
- Ansible
- Salt
- Terraform
- Docker
- Kubernetes (highly desired)
- Bash scripting

Desired Qualifications

Infrastructure & Cloud (desired): AWS, C2S, Azure Gov Cloud, GCP Gov Cloud, VMware, OpenStack
Data technologies (desired):
- NoSQL: Elasticsearch, MongoDB
- SIEM: Splunk
- Databases: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL
- ETL/data tooling: NiFi, Logstash, Cribl
- Big data: Apache Spark (Databricks, Hadoop)
- Streaming/queuing: Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, Azure Event Hub, GCP Pub/Sub, Confluent (highly desired)
Programming languages (desired): Python, Java, Scala, Go (Golang), Ruby

Education & Experience

Technical field education required; degrees/certificates must be from accredited institutions.
