About the role
Role Overview
DevOps Engineer (Hourly Contract, Remote) responsible for designing, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of services.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Proficiency with automation tools including Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Contract / Work Details
- Type: Hourly contract
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
