About the role

Role Overview

A hands-on DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure and DevOps processes. You will partner with development, QA, and product teams to enable reliable deployments, automation, and improved observability—across Rocky OS-based, AWS-hosted, and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Environment Management

Support deployment and maintenance of scalable infrastructure in AWS and hybrid cloud environments
Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
Maintain Linux-based environments
Contribute to containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

AI / Agent Infrastructure

Design, deploy, and manage AI agent workloads (provisioning compute and managing scaling for inference-heavy tasks)
Build and maintain model deployment pipelines, including versioning, testing, and rollback
Monitor AI API consumption and infrastructure costs with alerting/controls for budget visibility
Implement infrastructure-level security guardrails for AI systems (access controls, data isolation)

Observability & Reliability

Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
Troubleshoot production issues and support incident response and root cause analysis
Improve reliability, performance, and uptime

CI/CD & Automation

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket CI/CD, or similar tools
Automate routine operational tasks (builds, testing, deployments, system updates)
Integrate pipelines with internal engineering tools

Security & Compliance

Follow secure DevOps practices; help implement security controls
Support compliance initiatives and vulnerability remediation

Collaboration & Documentation

Work with DevOps, engineering, QA, and product teams to support releases
Maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
