Role overview

Aaratech Inc. is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure & Operations) to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure AWS infrastructure. The role emphasizes high availability, performance, and reliability of AWS environments.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
Manage compute, storage, and networking resources in AWS
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Automate deployment and operational processes
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system resilience
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or infrastructure roles
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts
Experience with Linux/Unix systems
Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred skills

Automation tooling: Terraform / CloudFormation
CI/CD: Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Monitoring: CloudWatch and/or Prometheus
Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator).
