About the role
Role Overview
Hourly contract DevOps/Infrastructure engineer role focused on evaluating and completing complex infrastructure tasks using coding agents in a sprint-based, remote setup.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete and evaluate complex infrastructure engineering tasks using coding agents
- Review model-generated implementations across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation
- Identify bugs, edge cases, reliability issues, and system failure modes
- Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths/weaknesses
- Apply engineering judgment to real-world infrastructure and reliability scenarios
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering
- Strong experience with one or more of: AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling
- Experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools
- Ability to evaluate model-generated infrastructure and reliability engineering solutions
- Strong experience supporting production-scale systems
Contract Details
- Type: Hourly contract (sprint-based; runs in 12 / 24 hour stretches)
- Location: Remote
- Rate: $85/hour (typical tasks may pay ~$400 and take ~2–3 hours after ramp-up)
