DevOps Engineer (Contract)

Crossing Hurdles is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a remote contract role, working 10–40 hrs/week.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments across environments.
Build and maintain containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Ansible (Infrastructure as Code).
Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging.
Ensure robust access management and secrets handling using IAM and secrets management tooling.

Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management, and security best practices.
Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Ansible and centralized logging solutions (mentioned as part of monitoring/ops stack).
