About the role
Role Overview
Cloud & DevOps Engineer (AWS) at Papernest. You will design and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, improve automation and developer experience, and partner with engineering teams.
Key Missions
- Design & maintain AWS multi-account and multi-region environments, including VPC networking and container platforms.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code stacks using:
- CloudFormation
- Terraform (create standardized, reusable modules and enforce best practices)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting, troubleshoot production incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure (multi-account/multi-region)
- Proficiency with AWS networking (VPC) and container platform environments
- Experience using CloudFormation and Terraform for automated, reusable deployments
- Ability to set up observability (monitoring/logging/alerting) and respond to production incidents
Nice-to-haves
- Strong experience with incident troubleshooting and RCA in production environments
- Experience improving automation and developer experience (DevEx)
