Developer Tooling & CLI Platform Engineer (Golang, ReactJS, Typescript, Github Copilot) - Only W2

Role Overview

Developer Tooling & CLI Platform Engineer for a next-generation API Review Agent platform and developer tooling ecosystem. You will design AI-powered workflows, distribution pipelines, and telemetry frameworks that help engineers govern, automate, and elevate API quality globally.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade CLI tools using Golang and/or TypeScript/Node.js for API governance and developer workflows.
• Build extensible plugin architectures and SDKs for internal and external developer consumers.
• Create cross-platform distribution strategies for macOS and Windows.
• Build release engineering components including:
  • release pipelines
  • package managers, installers
  • auto-update mechanisms and version management
• Implement telemetry frameworks for adoption, usage patterns, performance, reliability, and feature engagement.
• Integrate with GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD, IDEs, and developer portals to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Golang and TypeScript/Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade CLI applications.
• Deep understanding of software packaging and distribution (e.g., Homebrew, npm, standalone binaries, containers).
• Experience implementing telemetry/analytics/usage instrumentation in developer tools.
• Experience with release engineering, CI/CD automation, and artifact management.
• Background in AI-assisted tooling, agent-based workflows, or API governance platforms (background expected).
