About the role

Role Overview

Sprezzatura is seeking a Software Developer to design, code, and modify software applications for a key program for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a remote (U.S.-based) role that is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications in an Agile environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
Write clean, scalable, efficient code
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years hands-on software development experience
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required)

Working Conditions

Mon–Fri standard business hours; occasional extended/weekend hours as needed
Must have reliable internet for telecommuting
