About the role

Role Overview

Workday & Greenhouse Integration Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between Workday and Greenhouse. This is a fully remote contract role for 3–6 months, focused on building scalable solutions that keep HR and recruiting data accurate and synchronized.

Responsibilities

Design and develop hybrid integrations between Workday and Greenhouse
Build and maintain data pipelines using:
- Workday Studio
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors
- Report-as-a-Service (RaaS)
Configure custom field mappings and data transformations using XML, JSON, and XSLT
Automate synchronization for organizational data (e.g., departments, cost centers, office locations)
Implement integrations using:
- Workday Web Services (WWS)
- Greenhouse HRIS Link
- Harvest API
- Webhooks
Support recruiting/HR workflows such as:
- requisition approvals
- job synchronization
- user lifecycle automation (provisioning/deprovisioning and permissions)
Perform integration testing, troubleshoot discrepancies, and resolve API/system issues
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable integration solutions

Required Qualifications

Proven experience developing integrations between Workday and Greenhouse
Hands-on experience with:
- Workday Studio
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors
- Workday RaaS (Report-as-a-Service)
Strong knowledge of Greenhouse HRIS Link, Harvest API, Developer Center, and webhooks
Advanced skills with XML, JSON, and XSLT transformations
Experience designing enterprise integration architectures and data pipelines
Strong understanding of HR processes, recruiting workflows, and candidate lifecycle management
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical/problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing enterprise HRIS integrations in large organizations
Knowledge of Workday Security Groups and permission management
Experience with automated workflow design and complex approval processes
Familiarity with API performance optimization and data governance best practices
