Role overview

Developer Relations AI is a high-impact role at the intersection of AI technology and developer community growth. You will act as the bridge between engineering and external builders, helping developers discover, understand, and succeed with advanced AI tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with developers, strategic partners, and open-source communities.
• Run developer engagement programs such as AMAs, webinars, office hours, hackathons, workshops, and online forums.
• Create technical content: tutorials, blog posts, documentation, sample apps, demos, videos, and SDK guides.
• Develop prototypes and reference implementations showing practical AI use cases.
• Collect developer feedback and translate ecosystem needs into actionable insights for product and engineering.
• Advocate for developer experience improvements across onboarding, APIs, tooling, and documentation.
• Represent the platform at conferences, meetups, and digital events (talks, workshops, technical presentations).
• Support launch strategies for developer-facing features, APIs, and integrations.
• Track community sentiment and adoption/engagement metrics to optimize DevRel.
• Mentor internal teams on technical communication and community-building best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of software development with strong coding fundamentals.
• Prior experience in Developer Relations / Developer Advocacy / technical community management (or similar).
• Hands-on expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js (production-level).
• Experience building, testing, and maintaining applications, APIs, or developer tools.
• Proven ability to create engaging technical content (written, video, and/or live presentation).
• Experience speaking at developer events (conferences, webinars, meetups).
• Strong understanding of developer experience, onboarding journeys, and community growth.
• AI/ML experience, including LLM integrations, AI APIs, or chatbot solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration (engineering, product, marketing).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Llama.cpp, ggml inference engines, and/or efficient local model deployment workflows.
