Role overview

1Password is hiring a full-stack or backend-leaning Developer for the Insights team. The team’s mission is to gather data to power impactful reporting and actionable insights for admins, developers, and automations.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, debug, and maintain production software systems for new and existing features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth releases
• Work with teammates and project managers to communicate technical requirements and resolve scalable technical issues
• Mentor junior/new team members with guidance, knowledge sharing, and support during pair programming
• Participate in planning: identify major tasks, break down work, estimate, and contribute to delivery

What you’re looking for

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Go
• Strong drive and proven experience with software development best practices and coding standards
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems and propose effective solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical partners
• Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality code

Bonus points

• Experience building frontends with TypeScript and React
• Experience with security or admin-focused products
