Developer - Front End III

Role Overview

Apex Systems is seeking a Front-end Developer (Front End III) to help enhance a dynamic team. You will build and maintain user-facing interfaces, collaborate on new app designs, connect backend endpoints to front-end views, and improve existing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using multiple frameworks with Jira and Git
• Implement UI based on user stories and participate in technical design
• Create efficient, scalable, secure, observable applications
• Turn UI/UX designs into responsive pages
• Connect backend endpoints to front-end views
• Build functional, efficient pages for operational teams
• Provide/receive feedback through team meetings and code reviews
• Proactively address and resolve technical issues

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years building front-end applications for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal (workflow visualization, status tracking, operational dashboards)
• 5+ years strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js alongside React.js
• 5+ years of knowledge of web development best practices and standards
• Strong understanding of front-end fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive UI
• Understanding of scalable application design principles
• Knowledge of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Strong communication skills and ability to translate requirements to stakeholders
