Role Overview

Senior Node.js Developer (Remote, USA)

Responsibilities

Design and implement event-driven architectures and microservices
Develop and maintain REST APIs and associated services
Create and maintain automated web UI tests using Playwright
Write reliable UI test suites using best practices to avoid brittle tests and false positives
Execute and support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
Support code quality and coverage practices using tools like SonarQube
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman

Requirements

8+ years of experience
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Microservices
Proficiency with REST APIs
Experience with Playwright web testing framework
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with visual test automation tools (Storybook, Applitools)
Experience with accessibility testing (Level Access)
Experience with code coverage and quality gating (SonarQube)
Experience executing REST API tests (e.g., Postman)
Hands-on CI/CD execution and build tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
Deep understanding of web UI automation best practices
Self-motivated and independent

Nice-to-Haves

Additional familiarity with visual regression testing and accessibility testing workflows
